Concerns raised after aggressive foxes appear on property
EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC)- Questions are being raised in Effingham County about safety from wild animals.
The owner of a property said two foxes come up to his porch Monday night and growled and acted aggressively, so he shot both of them dead.
But when he wanted them tested for rabies, the Coastal Health District said they only test animals that have come into contact with people and pets.
So some question whether to protect yourself before animals strike or risk being exposed to rabies.
